Why results differ
Project-based creator work is paid per project, and the amount, the number of projects and the timing depend on factors outside the publisher's control. These include whether an application is accepted, whether briefs are open for a creator's niche, demographic and country, how well the finished content matches a brief, and whether the brand accepts it. A reader may earn less than they hoped, or nothing at all.
The provider sets pay
The provider runs its service and sets eligibility, terms and pay. The publisher is not a party to any agreement between a reader and a provider, does not pay readers and cannot change what a provider offers.
